Delete your Indie Downloads account

Applies to accounts created on indiedownloads.com or in the Indie Downloads app (Urban City Entertainment LLC).

How to request deletion

Send an email from the email address on your account to thelovelljones@gmail.com.
Use the subject line “Delete my Indie Downloads account”. If you sell music, include your artist or label name.
We’ll confirm by email and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What we delete

Your account: name, email address and password.
For artists and labels: your storefront, profile, bio, social links, uploaded music and cover art, and your fan list. Your releases are removed from the store.
Your email newsletter opt-ins.

What we keep, and for how long

Records of completed purchases, refunds and artist payouts (amount, date, item, and the billing details entered at checkout) are kept for up to 7 years because tax, accounting and music-industry sales-reporting rules require them. These records are not used for marketing. If you are an artist with money still owed to you, we will pay out your balance before closing your account.
